Memory Foam

Dog bed memory foam is essentially the same memory foam used in mattresses for humans. Not memory foam is the same though. The foam can be more or less dense, which reflects on the surface of the bed. However, in the case of dogs, this is not overly important – as long as it’s memory foam, they will find it comfortable.

What is important for you, when shopping, is to differentiate between different types of foam. Besides memory foam, you’ll find dog beds made with egg-crate orthopedic foam or sometimes pillows made of shredded memory foam. While all these options are technically fine, if you want the best possible dog bed, look for those with an actual memory foam mattress that is at least a couple of inches thick.
